Origin: | | These species were caught in the Jorari River, a tributary of the Sankosh River the actual location being Laskapara, Cooch Bihar, Bengal, India. The current was very slight and these two species appeared to be co habiting this stretch of river. They appear to be typical Danionella species attaining a maximum total length of no more than 12mm. |

Comments: | | These fish were caught along with many other species of fish. Danio rerio, Dario dario, Pipe fishes, and at least two species of loach. These pictures were taken at the water's edge and the fish were released. |
