Comments: | | This is another species that probably prefers slightly cooler conditions. (20°C)
This species can easily be confused with Devario shanensis. They both have a series of vertical bars down the sides. Devario interruptus has a series of short, wide vertical bars followed by a horizontal dark P stripe ending at the caudal fin base. It also has a short incomplete lateral line. The lateral line in D. shanensis is complete or very nearly complete.
